I feel like they should’ve adressed the issue of Buffy no longer being the true Slayer after season 1 more. It was briefly mentioned in a few scenes here and there, but it should have been explored more. Buffy dies -> Kendra gets called -> Kendra dies -> Faith gets called -> Buffy dies again in season 5 and nothing happens, because Faith is the true Slayer.
